Terms and Conditions
This page is provided as a general template and should be reviewed by counsel before production use.
Operator
ChatterPoll is currently operated by ConferED LLC. References to “ChatterPoll,” “we,” “our,” or “us” in these Terms mean ConferED LLC as the service operator unless stated otherwise.
Acceptance
By creating an account, signing in, launching a poll, or submitting a response through ChatterPoll, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Using the Service
You agree to use ChatterPoll lawfully, keep your account details accurate, and avoid using the product to collect unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content.
You are responsible for the polls you create, the people you invite, the messages you send, and the response data you collect through the platform.
Billing and Paid Access
Every new account starts with a 14-day trial that includes one active poll and up to 25 total responses across that poll, plus live results, reasons, and comments. CSV export unlocks on paid plans.
One Poll Pass is a one-time $39 payment for one selected poll. It does not start a subscription, supports up to 250 responses for that poll, and keeps that poll active for 30 days from payment.
Pro is billed at $45 per month (or $429 per year) and includes 1,000 participant responses per billing month across your account, with high-volume polling, subject to fair use. Business is billed at $149 per month (or $1,429 per year) and includes 5,000 responses per billing month across your account, with team access and JSON export where offered. Optional add-ons (such as One Poll Pass and Response Boost) are described at checkout.
Paid subscriptions and one-time poll unlocks are billed through Stripe. Subscription cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless Stripe shows a different date. If a trial, response cap, or billing period ends, parts of the service may stop accepting new responses until a paid upgrade is completed.
Refund requests, if any, are handled case by case unless a different written policy is posted. You are responsible for reviewing your Stripe checkout details before purchase.
Intellectual Property and Brand Protection
All site content, software, branding materials, and proprietary product assets made available through ChatterPoll are copyright ConferED LLC unless otherwise noted. All rights reserved.
ChatterPoll and its software, code, copy, page content, visual design, logos, trademarks, service marks, graphics, exports, templates, and other product materials are owned by ChatterPoll or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, train on, reverse engineer, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or create a substantially similar commercial product from ChatterPoll’s protected code, content, design assets, or branding without prior written permission.
You may not copy, mirror, or commercially reuse ChatterPoll’s product architecture, technical structure, database design, workflow design, or other proprietary implementation details to build or market a competing product.
You may not use the name ChatterPoll, its logos, or other brand identifiers in a way that suggests affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or source confusion.
For clarity, these Terms do not claim ownership over broad ideas, concepts, systems, or methods that are not protectable by law. They do protect ChatterPoll’s specific implementation, expression, brand identity, and proprietary materials to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Your Content
You keep ownership of the content and response data you submit to ChatterPoll. You grant ChatterPoll the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, back up, and display that content so the service can operate.
Participants do not need ChatterPoll accounts to answer a poll, but creators are responsible for the content, recipients, and settings on the polls they publish.
Feedback
If you send feedback, suggestions, or feature ideas, ChatterPoll may use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly attribute them to you without permission.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated, the service is being abused, or doing so is necessary to protect users, the platform, or our legal rights.
Service Changes and Disclaimer
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We aim to provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects customers, but the service is still provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent allowed by law.
