Common questions

Do participants need accounts?

No. Participants answer through a public link, and only the poll creator needs a ChatterPoll account.

What happens after 25 trial responses?

Your trial poll stops accepting new responses until you upgrade. You can purchase One Poll Pass for that poll, or subscribe to Pro or Business for a monthly response allowance across your account.

Can I run one poll without subscribing?

Yes. One Poll Pass is a one-time purchase for a single poll, supports up to 250 responses, and does not start a recurring subscription.

Can I cancel Pro or Business?

Yes. You can cancel either subscription from the Stripe customer portal, and the plan stays active until the end of the billing period.

How do monthly response limits work on Pro and Business?

We count every participant response you collect across all polls in your workspace during the current billing period. Annual billing uses the same monthly allowance, billed once per year.

What is Response Boost?

Pro and Business subscribers can add +250 responses for the current billing period only (no rollover). Pro allows up to two packs per period; Business allows up to four. One Poll Pass polls can add up to two packs for that poll’s response cap. Allowances reset when your subscription renews (or when your pass window ends for one-poll boosts).
